How to use wall putty :
Surface Preparation
Before applying Magitech Smart set Wall Putty to remove all chemicals or other material from the wall surface with help of sandpaper, a putty blade, or a wire brush, the substrate is clean. free from oil, dust, and other loose material.
Mixing
- Mix “Magitech Smart Set Wall Putty” with 40-45% clean water slowly to make a paste.
- Continue the mixing for 10-15 minutes till a uniform paste is formed.
- Re-mix again for about 2 minutes, the mixture paste is ready to apply
- It is very important that the mixing of Magitech Smart Set Wall Putty should be done thoroughly.
- This will help in easy application, obtaining more coverage, pure whiteness, and smooth uniform shade. Only prepare a quantity that can be used within 2-3 hours of mixing with
Method Of Application
- Dampen the surface to be plastered with clean water, allow excess water to drain off.
- Using a steel trowel/blade, apply the above mix to a thickness of about 0.5-1mm level smoothen the surface and care the first coat lightly as it dries.
- Apply the second coat of 0.5-1mm after the first coat has fully dried and set.
- The thickness of each coat should not exceed 1mm and total plaster thickness should not exceed 2mm.
